This past Friday, I began noticing the type of signs that direct you to movie sets all posted close by the Chowdaheadz headquarters in Woburn.
Well, it turns out that, according to Woburn Patch, the Mark Wahlberg movie about the Boston Marathon bombings was filming not a quarter mile away from our physical location on Friday. Back in March, the film began shooting in Quincy according to OnLocationVacations.com.
The intrepid reporter over at Woburn Patch confirmed with a security guard that the movie filming on Gill Street was, in fact, Patriots Day, starring Wahlberg, Kevin Bacon and John Goodman.
However, he also indicated that they wouldn’t be in Woburn very long. Well, we will see if they’re still around on this coming week.
