Tailgating Do’s and Don’ts This Season

Hey Chowdaheadz, Patriots season is right around  the corner and I know what your thinking, tailgating season is finally upon us. This season is shaping up to be one of the most successful yet and you can make it one of the most successful tailgating season yet with a few do’s and don’ts of your own.

Do’s

Bring a Tent- 5 of the Patriots home games this season are at 1pm which means the sun will be high in the sky and there’s nothing worse than a sunburn in the middle of October.

Over cook- Don’t waste your money buying food inside the stadium. Cook extra burgers and dogs so that you can have some after the game and wait out the traffic.

Bring yard games- Nothing says tailgating like playing some beer pong or cornhole with your friends and complete strangers. Bring some yard games and have your parking spot be the talk of the lot.

Dont’s

Don’t forget plates- Nothing worse than grilling 20 burgers then realizing you have nothing to put them on. Before you leave the house, make sure you have all the cutlery and plates you’ll need.

Don’t wait on cleaning- Trust me, you do not want to have to clean up after a game, especially if they lose. Put all the garbage in a bag and make getting out of the parking lot that much quicker.

Don’t bring charcoal- Make sure you fill up the propane tank because there are no open fires allowed at Gillette. So double check you have the right grill to have a good tailgate.

Most important to this list, make sure you enjoy yourself. Leave all your troubles and worries at home and enjoy the day. Every Pats game day is a good day to have a good day.
