Tacko Fall has a ball in G-League debut

Alright, so I set off this morning to write an article about how great of a season Tacko Fall is having for the Maine Red Claws but truthfully, I had not heard much about the G-League or started really keeping up with their stats yet.

In other words, I was kind of just assuming Fall is having a great season. There's only one big problem: the Red Claws have only played one game so far. They beat the Delaware G-League team (remember, this used to be called the D League), so I guess we're just gonna have to go off of that.

So far, it's been good for Fall. In his G-League debut, he dropped 13 points, had 11 rebounds and blocked three shots. So yeah, that's a double-double. He did this in 25.9 minutes of play, keep in mind.

OK, so we can't really decipher much from one game but man oh man, that is really promising. As we know, he probably would've made most NBA teams out of the gate this season. After all, he played in a game for the Celtics already this season: he scored four points and grabbed three rebounds in four minutes of play. So basically, he’s the next Michael Jordan…

But yeah, it will be interesting to see how Fall does in the G-League. Surely, he will be one of the better players in the league and will be helping the Red Claws win some games. It’s also got to be kind of cool for that Red Claws team to have a player as popular with C’s fans like Fall is compared to some guys who are actually in the NBA.

Oh yeah, and as we all know, he is 7-foot-7. I know that’s pretty well-known about him, but it’s something we have to keep talking about because it’s so impressive. He doesn’t even have to worry about the girls on dating sites who have “swipe left if you’re under seven feet”. Incredible.
