71st Celebration Of All Things Lobster
The first Maine Lobster Festival started back in 1947 and since then has flourished into one of the largest internationally recognized seafood celebrations. What started as just a way to get locals interested in Midcoast Maine, this non-profit organization has given more thank $500,000 back to the community. The festival is a fully volunteer based event with people from all over the world traveling to Rockland Maine for a once in a lifetime experience.
The Fest starts on August 1st and runs until the 5th.

"The 67th Annual Maine Lobster Festival presents "Steins and Vines," an exclusive beer and wine tasting event featuring local Maine-based breweries, wineries, and distilleries. This exciting event will take place on Thursday, July 31st, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the Maine Lighthouse Museum,1 Park Drive, in Rockland.
Featuring five Maine brewers and four Maine vintners, Steins and Vines is open to guests aged 21 and older."
