Julian Edelman surprises bullied Patriots fan with Super Bowl tix

If you need another reason to like Julian Edelman (or just want to read about how awesome he is), then keep going. If you're a hater, then keep reading too...
The New England Patriots have their biggest game of the season this upcoming Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams in a Super Bowl they are favored to win. However, even with all of the players' focuses on the big game, Julian Edelman still made a heart warming gesture prior to it.
Seventh-grader Dejah Rondeau is a football player herself, who wears No. 11 because her favorite player is Julian Edelman. She started three games for the Exeter Seahawks 7th/8th grade team this past fall when their initial starter went down with an injury. Despite the impressive athletic achievement, she was not met with kind responses.
Instead, she was bullied by her at school and by some of her peers, who did not like that they had a female quarterback. Edelman was not happy to hear this, so he stepped in to make her happy.
She got the tour of Patriots trophy room in Foxboro, got to meet team owner Robert Kraft and wide receiver Julian Edelman. When she met Edelman, he asked her if she had any plans this Sunday and then handed her two Super Bowl tickets.
So yeah, now she gets to go to the Super Bowl thanks to Edelman's kindness.
Sports are an incredibly valuable tool for children growing up, whether they are a boy or a girl. It's very nice that Edelman realizes this too and decided to do what he did.
Hopefully, Rondeau has a good time at the game on Sunday and gets to see a Patriots Super Bowl win. That will be quite the story for her to tell for years to come.
