Chowdaheadz App Privacy Policy

These terms apply to Chowdaheadz Ad Studio and its Meta advertising connection, operated by Born Into It, Inc., doing business as Chowdaheadz, 35B Industrial Parkway, Woburn, MA 01801. This is an internal business tool for authorized Chowdaheadz personnel. It is not a customer shopping service.

Information processed

The app uses your signed-in user identifier to associate authorized connections and launch records with your account. When you connect Meta, you supply an access token and ad account and Facebook Page identifiers. The app retrieves accessible Page names and identifiers, ad account information such as name, currency and status, and campaign/ad set information such as names, identifiers, status and budgets to let you choose a destination.

The app stores creative images, product links, ad copy, review status, activity history, connection identifiers and launch records. Launch records can include timestamps, requested activation, campaign/ad set names, image hashes, Meta creative and ad identifiers, and API errors. Hosting and authentication providers may process technical data such as IP address, browser information, authentication/session data and operational logs to operate and secure the service.

Purpose and Meta access

We process this information to authenticate authorized users, prepare and review advertising, display available destinations, upload creative assets, create and activate ads when a user confirms the action, prevent duplicate submissions and troubleshoot launch results. The current connection is not designed to collect Facebook friends, private messages or customer payment data.

Storage, security and sharing

Meta access tokens are encrypted in app storage. Access to the studio is restricted to authorized users. We send the selected artwork, ad text, links, Page identity and advertising instructions to Meta when you submit a launch. OpenAI/ChatGPT Sites and its Cloudflare hosting infrastructure process app data to provide hosting, authentication and storage. Shopify hosts these public policy pages. These providers process information under their applicable terms and policies. We do not sell app user data. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service.

Retention and deletion

Connection data is retained while the connection is configured. Disconnecting in Launch settings removes the stored connection and encrypted token, but does not automatically delete creatives or launch history. Those records remain for business use until removed or a verified deletion request is processed. If records must be retained for legal, security or accounting purposes, we limit retention to that purpose. Copies in provider backups may remain until their normal retention cycle expires.

You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing help@chowdaheadz.com. Follow the User Data Deletion instructions. Disconnecting or deleting local data does not delete or pause ads already created in Meta; manage those in Ads Manager. Meta may retain its own records under its policies.

Scope and updates

This policy covers the internal app. Shopping activity is covered separately by the Chowdaheadz store privacy policy. We update this page when app data practices change and revise the effective date.
