As Its The Lakes Region 1st.The White Mountains 2nd.The Great North Woods 3rd.Been up to and stayed several times each region.. PARTICULARLY Mid 2000's when my DAUGHTER was young,we Rented Nice Cabins in the Great North Woods In Pittsburgh N.H. that is well known for its Snowmobiling and trails that lead just 15 minutes into Canada..Many People From MASSACHUSETTS Vacation in the Great North woods,Pittsburge INPARTICULAR as it has Much to offer for Sledding...I think it's Youth's Gas/ Store where everyone Gasses up their sleds.. Anyway as Far as Accomodations.. Tall Timber Lodge/Cabins are a Great Stay,and Lipstick Cabins Are just Wonderful.. But yes,I would Venture to Say that was a Very Important Part/ Region left off of the Sherpa N.H.Blanket...anyone that really knows New Hampshire.. It's the Farthest Point of New Hampshire,Before Crossing over into canada... about 5.5 to 6 Hour's Drive time to get to
