Did you know over 40 cities in Maine are named after countries? If you've ever seen the World Traveler sign in Bethel, then you know of 9 of them. Who knew Poland, Mexico and China were so close? With so many people able to claim they've been to Paris and Peru in the same afternoon, it kinda blows the whole "You Can't Get There From Here" Maine saying out of the water. Just another thing that makes The Pine Tree State so great.
