When The Weather Is Extreme, Exercise Your Pup At This Indoor Dog Park
Share
I hope you've enjoyed the mild January weather. Unfortunately, it appears to be over - at least for a while.
If the idea of walking your dog in near-zero temperatures gives you goosebumps, head to JB's Indoor Dog Park in Norwell! Your pooch can get the exercise they need, do their business, and make some new friends, all in a safe, well-monitored indoor facility!
The concept for the park was conceived in 2018 when owners, Jackie and Kevin Brady brought home a Goldendoodle named Bailey.
The furry pup had a tendency to carry the outside into the house with her on her coat and paws, and when the weather turned hot, the Bradys feared she would overheat on outdoor excursions.
JB's Indoor Dog Park is named for Bailey and the couple's former dog, Java. It officially opened to the public on February 20, 2019.
There are two separate areas with separate entrances so both large and small dogs can play safely. The small dog area is for those under 25 pounds and the large dog area is for all others.
The facility is temperature-controlled for comfortable play in any weather. It offers plenty of toys and agility equipment to ensure your dog runs off that excess energy.
For safety reasons, children must be eight or older to enter the park. Owners and friends are welcome to interact with their dogs, or simply sit in the overlooking coffee area and chat with fellow dog-lovers.
Need some treats, a new toy, or a gift for a dog-loving friend? JB's retail area has everything you need, including coffee mugs, water bottles, wine glasses, and breed-specific throw pillows.
Be sure to check out the vaccination requirements and other regulations before heading to JB's. If you have any questions, visit their website or call the park directly during business hours.
See you there!
