This One-Of-A-Kind Connecticut Diner Serves More Than 30 Omelettes

Manchester, Connecticut is your ticket to the galaxy and beyond!

From the outside, your only clue to the wonders that lay within the Cosmic Omelet Diner is the lime green sign featuring planets and stars.

Inside, this spot is anything but average! Owner, Tracey Devine is a self-professed "breakfast enthusiast" and supporter of the local art scene.

Not only does Cosmic Omelet offer more than 30 different varieties of their signature fried egg dish, every inch of the space is an artistic, whimsical experience all its own!

Lovers of the American classic, The Wizard of Oz will delight in following the twisty "yellow brick road" from the gallery area to their table.

At Cosmic Omelet, breakfast is always served during business hours, 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Order a stack of buttermilk, chocolate chip, blueberry, cinnamon roll, Reese cup, or S'mores pancakes. Who knows, the chef may even create an edible work of art!

They offer all the typical "everyday" breakfast specials, but when it comes to omelets, the folks at Cosmic really outdo themselves.

Among the 30 on-menu options are ingredients such as cilantro, cream cheese, hot peppers, veggie burger, horseradish, sauerkraut, pineapple, and every meat and vegetable you can possibly imagine!

Order one of the tried-and-true favorites off the menu, or choose from the dozens of ingredients and create your own - maybe you'll invent a new diner favorite!

If that weren't enough, you can also request that the staff make your breakfast "a little more interesting."

Load your potatoes with cheddar, bacon and ranch dressing; try any omelet as a "mess" and the chef will scramble it into a pile for you; or try your omelet on a wheat or tomato basil wrap!

If for some reason you aren't in the mood for breakfast, the Cosmic Omelet also serves a full diner-style lunch menu of sandwiches, wraps, and burgers.

Be sure to peruse the gallery before you go. You just might find a locally-made treasure to take home with you - much of the art is for sale!

Not only does the art change regularly, the staff is forever coming up with new seasonal specials for their regulars, so no two trips to this quirky establishment are ever the same!

The website and Facebook page feature plenty of photos, but the only way to truly experience the Cosmic Omelet is to visit in person!
