This Connecticut Water Park Transforms Into A Winter Wonderland Every Holiday Season
When you think of Lake Compounce Park you probably imagine splashing around in the hot summer sun, but for the past 5 years they have offered some pretty amazing winter entertainment as well. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now until December 18, the entire family can enjoy holiday light shows, music and rides.
Upon entering the park, you will be dazzled by the thousands of colorful lights flashing and dancing.
The largest Christmas tree in Connecticut towers 100 feet above you.
There are nightly entertainers and costumed holiday characters.
Professional ice carvers making sculptures as you watch.
Children adore caroling, sitting in for story-time with Mrs. Clause and watching the balloon man create their very own balloon animal.
And of course, visiting with Santa!
