This year 15 artists from across the globe competed for cash prizes and the ultimate title.

The sculptors are given four days to create their masterpieces.

Winners are chosen in different categories including the People’s Choice award where onlookers can vote for their personal favorites.

The 2017 winners were announced on July 23 with Pavel Mylnikov of Moscow, Russia taking first place with his moving sculpture titled “Soul Evolution.”

In 2nd Place, Jonathan Bouchard (Jobi) of Montreal, Canada’s piece “Two Energies” features two intricately carved bird-like creatures intertwined.
