You Can Now Get Takeout Cocktails From These Boston Establishments

If you've been missing the professional-quality cocktails that come along with brunch, lunch, and dinner at your favorite Boston-area eatery, then rejoice! Governor Charlie Baker signed legislation this week allowing restaurants to offer takeout mixed drinks along with food orders.
Here are 6 local spots to try, but be sure to check online for updates as more establishments get in on the action!
Yellow Door Taqueria
Two Locations at: 2297 Dorchester Ave. at Adams Street and 384 Harrison Ave. at Traveler Street in Boston's South End
Taqueria's two Boston-area location are now offering margarita drink pouches to-go for $12 each in vanilla, lime leaf, spiced pineapple, and more fun, fresh flavors. It's like having a giant adult juicebox!
They also offer summery drink specials like daquiris and piña coladas for you to sip by the pool.
2. Stillwater
Located at: 120 Kingston St. at Essex Street near South Station
With an executive chef from Oklahoma, Stillwater is THE place for elevated comfort food in Boston. Chicken Fried Steak anyone? When you pick up your guilty-pleasure-of-choice, be sure to take home some of their whiskey punch for $12.
3. Committee Ouzeri & Bar
Located at: 50 Northern Ave. at Fan Pier Boulevard in the Seaport
Head to this Mediterranean-style eatery for upscale Greek food and $30 bottled Negronis to-go. Each bottle serves two! They also offer drink specials like Charanda with pineapple and turmeric bitters.
4. Sportello
Located at: 348 Congress St. at Thomson Place in Fort Point
Sportello is "a modern interpretation of the classic diner." Their menu features chef Barbara Lynch’s trattoria-inspired Italian dishes for lunch and dinner. Dine-in, eat on the patio, or order takeout with a few 12-ounce bottles of fresh, tropical cocktails such as Mai Tais, daiquiris, and piña coladas for $26 each.
5. Citrus & Salt
Located at: 142 Berkeley St. at Columbus Avenue, Back Bay
This Mexican restaurant is known for its delicious margaritas. Take some to go with your favorite south-of-the-border dish for just $15 each. They come in seven flavors and are served in adorable plastic palm tree souvenir cups or sealed bottles if you'd prefer to prepare them at home.
6. Puritan & Company
Located at: 1166 Cambridge St. at Tremont Street in Cambridge
Choose from several cocktails-for-two with the alcohol already included ($22 - $26) or cocktail mixers you can prepare at home ($12 - $14). Offerings include watermelon mojitos, Negroni, and the restaurant's signature Brown Derby, made with bourbon, grapefruit, honey, and lemon.
