Summer Recipe Series- Lobster Mac n Cheese

Hey Chowdaheadz, here with another great summer recipe for you all. This time, we’re going to be cooking Lobster Mac n Cheese.

 

Two Servings of Lobster Mac and Cheese in Small White Dishes
Ingredients: 

Salt

Pepper

1 pound macaroni (preferably elbow)

1 quart milk

8 table spoons butter

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

8 oz extra sharp cheddar cheese (grated)

12 oz Mozzarella cheese (grated)

1 1/2 pound cooked lobster meat

1 1/2 cups fresh white breadcrumbs

 

Directions: 

Preheat Oven to 375. Drizzle oil into salted water on high heat. Bring water to a boil. Cook pasta 6-8 minutes. Meanwhile, heat up milk in small saucepan but do not bring it to a boil. In a large pot, melt 6 table spoons of butter and add flour.  cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring with a whisk throughout. add hot milk and cook for a minute or two (until thick and smooth). Turn off the heat and add the cheese, salt and pepper (as desired). Add the cooked macaroni and lobster meat into a pan. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and mix with bread crumbs. cover mac n cheese with breadcrumbs and cook for 30-35 minutes or until the sauce is bubbly or the top is brown. Enjoy!
