Pickleball was created in 1965 by two friends, Joel Pritchard and Bill Bell, who were looking for something to do with their kids that wasn't as strenuous as tennis or as dangerous as golf. Pickleball is played with two or four players use paddles to hit a small ball over a net, and the game is played in either singles or doubles.
