Paddle Boston Offers Stunning Kayak Tours Of The City Skyline

Last weekend I visited a friend in Pocohontas County, West Virginia. I was a little apprehensive when she suggested we kayak down the Greenbrier River, but it turned out to be a blast!

Now that I'm hooked on kayaking, I was ecstatic to learn there is a kayak park on our own Charles River with amazing tours and views of the Boston skyline!

Paddle Boston caters to beginners, seasoned pros, and everyone in between.

They have a fleet of single- and double-person kayaks, paddleboards and canoes to suit any adventure level with five locations to rent gear throughout greater Boston.

You can opt to paddle off on your own or take a guided tour of the Charles River, Boston Harbor, and Massachusetts Coastline.

The Kendall Square location features beautiful sunset tours of the city skyline.

The Boston Harbor tours take you past the Charlestown Navy Yard, Old North Church, and the Financial District with views of the Hancock and Prudential Buildings, Citgo Sign, and the State House Dome.

The Ocean Kayak Tours are a bit more advanced, but safety is the number one goal at Paddle Boston. These tours include heavy instruction and a low student:instructor ratio.

If you have a particular set of landmarks in mind, the staff will even customize a trip just for you!
