This Vermont Pub/Deli Is Like Nothing You've Ever Seen Before

Four Corners Of The Earth in Burlington, VT is a difficult establishment to pin down. It's a pub. It's a deli. It's even a makeshift art gallery loaded with pieces by local artists.

Whatever it is that lures you into this whimsical place, you are sure to have fun!

Owned  and operated by Ladislav Pancisin since 2000, the spot is known for its creative, globally-inspired sandwiches.

What sets Four Corners apart from other Burlington sandwich shops is its sheer variety. They have more than 40 creative options!

Choose from traditional deli meat options, hot sandwiches, and vegetarian/vegan varieties.

All of the recipes come right from Pancisin's head and may not even be listed on the menu. Be sure to ask for recommendations before settling for the same old same old!

Some of the more eccentric options include the Japanese Miso Sandwich with Local Hard Boiled Eggs, Dark Miso, house-made Kim Chi, Mayo, and Provolone Cheese.

Or try the Russian Salmon Sandwich with Roasted Root Vegetables and Farmed or Wild Salmon spiced with house blend Rasta, Sliced Pickles, Lettuce, and Provolone Cheese.

Wash down your choice with one of Four Corners' draft or bottled beer selections.

As for the decor, eclectic doesn't even begin to scratch the surface! The walls are adorned with paintings, sculptures, and whimsical creations from area artists.

Even the kitchen counter is a work of art, made from an old bowling lane by Pancisin himself.

Before you go, grab a t-shirt, hat or Little Latszo spice blend to commemorate your visit!
