Enjoy Tacos, Beer & Rooftop Movies At This Maine Bowling Alley

Bayside Bowl in downtown Portland, Maine is your typical ten-pin bowling alley featuring 20 USBC sanctioned lanes. What sets them apart is their award-winning food and craft cocktails as well as their incredible rooftop deck.
Open Monday through Sunday 4pm - 10pm weather permitting, the rooftop features exceptional sunset views, local craft beer, and delicious Mexican food served from a real 1960s airstream trailer.
Perhaps coolest of all, the rooftop deck features live music as well as an awesome summer movie series!
This year's lineup is almost over, but it seems they saved the best for last. The Quentin Tarantino blockbuster, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is showing on August 26, followed by a Patrick Swayze Double Feature of Dirty Dancing and Roadhouse on September 9.
Movies start at sundown and shift to the following week in case of inclement weather.
Seating on the roof is on a first-come basis, so be sure to arrive early and nab a table. While you wait for the big screen fun to begin, visit the taco truck - a real Airstream trailer with the tires removed.
They serve an assortment of Mexican favorites including burritos, rice and bean bowls, chips and salsa, and a variety of tacos including classic bean, chicken, steak, pulled pork, and vegan turmeric cauliflower.
Grab a can of beer from the bar to wash down your meal. They feature more than a dozen local favorites and two rotating taps as well as a handful of wine options.
You can also catch a rescheduled live show from the Las Vegas-based band, That1Guy on September 26.
The rooftop at Bayside Bowl offers a wonderful chance to socialize and socially distance in a safe, fresh-air environment.
