Craft Beer Fans, Get Ready To Party At…The Zoo & The Children’s Museum?

The Back-to-School countdown has begun. While kids grasp for the last few moments of Summer freedom, parents gleefully shop for notebooks and crayons. The Children’s Museum in Easton and the fabulous Stone Zoo are perfect destinations for New England families looking to get in one last outing before the school year starts, but as the little ones adjust to the new school year, these kiddie paradises are going Adults Only.

Party people 21 and up are invited to attend the 3rd annual fundraiser, A Night at the Brewseum: A Craft Beer Expo on August 27 from 4 to 7 P.M at the Easton Children’s Museum. The event will feature tastings of local craft beers and artisanal beverages from 17 Boston area breweries as well as complimentary snacks. If the eating and drinking aren’t enough to keep you entertained, check out The Science of Beer exhibit that demonstrates the intricate art of brewing. Popular Boston band, The Wolfpack will be providing the background tunes as you mingle.

Best of all, it’s for a good cause! 100% of the proceeds will go into funding exhibits and educational programs at The Children’s Museum of Easton.

A few weeks later on Saturday September 17, the Stone Zoo in Stoneham, MA will be devoid of children for the second annual Ales & Tails beer tasting event. From 5 – 7:30 adults 21+ can stroll the animal exhibits – including bears, river otters, cougars, and many more –  as they sample craft beers from 22 breweries across the state. Complimentary hot dogs and french fries will be provided.

All proceeds from the event support the operation and continued growth of Zoo New England, its education programs and conservation initiatives. Pricing is as follows: $55/ticket in advance, $65 at the gate, and $20 – $25 for designated driver tickets. Buy yours here.
