Celebrate 65 Years Of Kane's In Saugus With A Prosecco-Infused Donut

Celebrate 65 Years Of Kane's In Saugus With A Prosecco-Infused Donut

Kane's Donuts was born in Saugus, Massachusetts in 1955. The mom-and-pop shop served fresh, hot coffee and simple, housemade donuts to locals heading off to work and returning home.

65 years later, this local's favorite is still going strong despite a few bumps along the way. They are celebrating with their new ‘pop the cork’ donut, a collaboration with Westport Rivers Vineyard & Winery.

The sparkly pink confection consists of a yeast donut frosted with a reduction of the vineyard’s Prosecco-style Farmer’s Fizz champagne and infused with Kane’s famous honey glaze. Try one at any Kane's location in Saugus or downtown Boston.

In addition to the celebratory champagne donut, you can also sample Kane's wide assortment of cake, yeast, filled, specialty, and gluten free options. All made from the finest locally-sourced ingredients.

The Maine blueberry cake donut has real berries folden into the dough and is dipped in Kane's signature honey glaze for just the right punch of sweetness.

The Créme Brûlée is a fluffy yeast donut filled with vanilla-bean custard; and dipped in honey glaze before being hand-torched to caramelized perfection. It's soft, creamy, crunchy, and delicious.

At any given time there are about a dozen different options available for you to mix and match, including seasonal specials.

After 65 years and a change in ownership, Kane's is still a family-run business with a focus on quality and loyalty to the community.

They are offering modified hours during the COVID-19 shutdown with take-out and delivery options.
