You may never have heard of the World Spa Awards, but when it comes to pampering yourself, you'll be glad to have their stamp of approval.
This year, one of Boston's own five star hotels, Mandarin Oriental in Back Bay, won the coveted Best Hotel Spa in North America as well as Best Hotel Spa in Massachusetts.
2020 marks the sixth year for the annual World Spa Awards which recognize beauty, massage, and hospitality services across the globe.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental is a luxurious16,000 square-foot space including 11 treatment rooms, two couples’ suites, a spa boutique, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
All of their treatments are inspired by ancient traditions, designed for your personal needs, and created to bring equilibrium to your mind, body and spirit.
Guests can choose from hot stone, Himalayan salt stone, therapeutic, and aromatherapy-infused massages performed by certified professionals.
They also offer specialty services such as a combination of foot reflexology and polarity therapy and balance-restoring treatments.

The Mandarin Oriental, Boston temporarily closed due to COVID-19 but reopened in September with new arrival guidelines including face coverings and temperature screenings.
