Boston's First Ever Donut Fest Is Coming!

Boston's First Ever Donut Fest Is Coming!

Summer is the season for food festivals in Boston. With celebrations devoted to pizza, ice cream, seafood, gelato, and so much more, it's a wonder there has never been a Boston Donut Fest - until now!

On Sunday, July 28 the colorful wheel-shaped confections will take over the South End’s Underground at Ink Block space from 11 AM to 6 PM.

More vendors are expected to join in the coming weeks, but 12 donut shops from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Maine have currently signed up to participate in the sugar-coated festivities!

They are:

Bad Doughnut
Blackbird Doughnuts
DJ's European Market and Delicatessen
Donut Stand
Donut Villa Diner
Doughboy Donuts and Deli
Kanes Donuts
KNEAD Doughnuts
MoMo Cafe Quincy MA
Rocco's Doughnut Company
Satellite Doughnuts
Union Square Donuts

Since donuts and coffee go together like peanut butter and jelly, there are also two local coffee shops signed up to provide the caffeine: Reign Drink Lab and NOBL.

There will also be a DJ spinning live music as well as kids games and giveaways.

The Underground at Ink Block recently debuted eight new murals as part of the 2019 Underground Mural Project.

Be sure to stroll the property and enjoy some visual art along with your edible art.

Tickets are $15 and provide general admission for the event with a portion donated to Pine Street Inn. All donuts, coffee, and other food items will be sold separately.

At least one food truck - The Chicken and Rice Guys - will be on hand to provide a savory option when you max out on sweets.

Get your tickets before they're all gone! BostonDonutFest-Boston.eventbrite.com
