Here is a Throwback Thursday to Boston Calling 2013! If you live in New England and enjoy great music, food and company then there is no reason not to be attending the upcoming spring music festival: the Boston Calling. However, if you’re not from here, then you should definitely make it a plan to head down to Boston this Memorial weekend and witness for yourself the extravaganza of performances from the hottest artists of the year.
The full lineup of Boston Calling, which has already been unveiled holds an impressive range of artists, right from the magnificent Sia to the groovy music duo Disclosure. The list goes on to hold the names of Haim, Janelle Monáe, Batlles, Miike Snow and much more who promise not only the best of performances but also a wide variety of them. Indie pop, R&B, indie folk, pop rock, and electronic music are only some of the many genres that will be covered in the fest.
And while your favorite artists take the stage at City Hall Plaza, you can also revel in the incredible beer, wine, and food offerings that will be available. Oh yes, for those who are of age, an expanded beverage program including selections from Wine Riot and a custom Boston Calling beer, courtesy of a guest European brewer will be at disposal. As for the foodies, delicious food from Tasty Burgers along with limitless options from various food vendors will be around at all times.
This year, an intimate third stage for comedy and other performances will also be introduced, yet once again promising of great entertainment. It’s a party you can attend with the company of all ages (free for 10 under) for everybody is sure to enjoy themselves surrounded by the euphoric energy and spirit of good music. So come rain or shine, get ready to dance and sing along to the greatest beats in this three-day festival starting May 27.
