Amy Schumer Just Married An Award-Winning Chef From Martha's Vineyard

Like many celebrities, comedienne Amy Schumer, is understandably private about her romantic life. Photos of Chris Fischer - a James Beard Award-winning chef from Martha's Vineyard - have popped up here and there on Schumer's Instagram feed, but their relationship was not officially confirmed until the day before their secret wedding.

The happy event took place in Malibu on Tuesday, February 13. The ceremony was small and limited to friends, family and two adorable black pups including Schumer's new addition, Tati.

Schumer spent parts of 2017 in Massachusetts filming scenes for her highly anticipated - and somewhat controversial - film, I Feel Pretty which premiers in June.

Hometown boy, Fischer runs Beetlebung Farm in Martha's Vineyard which has been in his family for 250 years.

The acclaimed brand includes a restaurant featuring food that's "healthy, exceedingly delicious, and fun"...

A fully-stocked bar that was recently named "Best Craft Cocktails in New England" by Yankee Magazine...

 An espresso bar...

And a quaint general store.

Before you catch the next ferry, Beetlebung is currently closed for the season and will reopen for the Summer 2018 season in April. A weekend trip to the Vineyard for a fresh, delicious dinner by Fischer and a funny feature film starring his lovely bride sounds like a fabulous plan for June!
