6 Boston Food Trucks You Have To Visit In 2017
Share
The best thing about Boston food trucks is that there are so darn many of them, giving you the chance to choose from gut-busting, calorie-packed indulgences, healthy, fresh favorites made from locally sourced ingredients, and everything in between!
If you haven’t tried these 6 trucks, do yourself a favor and track them down in the city this year – you won’t regret it!
Roxy’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese
Delicious comfort food based on the simple childhood favorite – the grilled cheese. But these sandwiches certainly aren’t two slices of orange Velveeta jammed between two skimpy pieces of Wonderbread! The Mighty Rib Melt features fontina, braised short rib and caramelized onion. Adventurous souls may enjoy the guacamole-topped Green Muenster with, you guessed it, Muenster cheese and bacon. Complete your order with a side of Hand-cut Truffle Fries or a cup of homemade Roasted Tomato Soup (seasonal).

The Dining Car
Voted the Best Food Truck in Boston, The Dining Car serves artisanal sandwiches on fresh baked focaccia bread that they bake right on the truck! The menu changes constantly and cannot be pigeon-holed into any one category. They get their meats and seasonal produce from the local agricultural community and take their inspiration from all over the world.
Amigos Locos
Tex-Mex style favorites made from the freshest ingredients. They offer authentic Texas Style BBQ meats, made to order tacos, burrito bowls, salads, sandwiches and homemade sides.
Red Bones
Southern favorites like pulled pork, cornbread and collared greens are the focus of this truck. You can even get a full rack of BBQ ribs! The brick-and-mortar restaurant is located in Somerville.
Sante Mobile Cafe
This progressive truck is designed for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans so there is a heavy focus on fresh produce. Think extremely healthy salads, wraps and meats like grass-fed beef, plus an array of delicious fruit smoothies.

Boston’s Baddest Burger
This indulgent food truck specializes in fresh ground, all natural, grass fed burgers, deli sandwiches and hot dogs. They also serve Maine-ly Lobstah brand lobstah rolls. Try “The Baddest” burger made with 12 ounces of beef on brioche bread with your choice of cheese and toppings.
