3 "Roaring Twenties" Parties To Help You Ring In The New Year In Retro Style

The twenties are back again! Remembered for its style and excess with art deco clothing, architecture and decor, the 1920s were heavy on the liquor as Prohibition was in full-swing.
In honor of this luxurious decade, three Boston-area businesses are hosting "Roaring Twenties" parties to help you ring in the new year.

Harpoon Roaring 2020s New Year’s Eve Speakeasy Party
Harpoon Brewery will host its New Year’s Eve speakeasy-themed bash at its large Seaport beer hall. The $100 ticket price includes two beer tokens, a pretzel token, a champagne flute for toasting in the New Year, an appetizer-style buffet, and a take-home gift at the end of the night.
DJ Brian Smith will spin smooth jazz and modern hits. Bonus: the Seaport location has some of the best views in the city to watch the fireworks!

Night Shift’s Ringing in the Roaring ’20s
Night Shift Brewing has several area locations, but their ’20s-themed New Year's party is scheduled at the primary production brewery in Everett. This spot features an expansive, two-bar Taproom.
The prohibition-themed bash will feature big band tunes from Swingin’ Bridges, charcuterie appetizers, and homemade beer Twix. A custom Night Shift glass filled with rosé seltzer will be available for a midnight toast. Tickets are $55.

New Year’s Eve at Bully Boy Distillers
Bully Boy Distillery's New Year’s Eve celebration will be held at their gorgeous tasting room and cocktail bar in the Newmarket District of Roxbury which already exudes a retro vibe.
With housemade vodka, rum, whisky, and gin on tap, this prohibition party is sure to be off the chain! Expect specialty cocktails, catering from American Provisions, and Amaro shots from the ice luge. Tickets are $35.
