10 Of The Best Pizza Joints Across Massachusetts

Everybody has their opinion on where to find the perfect pizza slice in Massachusetts. We tend to prefer thin, bubbly crust, sauce made from fresh tomatoes – none of that canned junk, multi-cheeses blends and unique toppings.

There is certainly no shortage of pizza joints to choose from across the state, but if you are looking to cross “sample MA’s best pizza” off your bucket list, give these ten shops a try!

Volturno Pizza, Worcester

These pies are true culinary works of art. The dough is hand-kneaded and formed, then topped with the freshest farm-to-table ingredients. Some of Volturno’s delicious creations include the Vongole, made with Wellfleet clams, smoked prosciutto, mozzarella, lemon ricotta and fresh garlic; the Pistachio, which includes pork sausage, pistachio pesto, mozzarella and Pecorino Romano; and the Lemone (pictured below).
