We're a small company that does a big business, which means things are fast paced and always changing.

We're looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator with strong organizational skills who is an analytical thinker, deadline oriented and able to work efficiently & independently. This is a full-time position based at our warehouse in Woburn, MA. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Sourcing/Purchasing:

  • Purchase and maintain inventory for all finished items, goods and vendors

  • Facilitate sourcing, purchasing and contract production for Chowdaheadz Brand products - drinkware, headwear, trinkets, stickers, etc

  • Manage production for Chowdaheadz in-house Brand products - stickers, candles, wholesale

  • Effectively manage vendors and relationships; continually control costs, maintain terms, program pricing and take advantage of special offers/incentives

  • Work with Warehouse Manager to Receive, Inspect, Catalog & Stock any and all arriving items

  • Receive all incoming inventory in system

  • Work with Ecommerce Manager to cover all annual, seasonal, holiday, pre-order booking programs

  • Oversee CH private labeling and the purchase of associated tags, labels and materials

Wholesale duties:

  • Confirm and process all incoming PO#'s and orders

  • Order all necessary materials for order - t-shirts, sweatshirts, stickers, etc

  • Work with Production Manager to get wholesale orders completed in a timely manner

Skills & Specifications:

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Strong math & analytical skills

  • Ability to make decisions with little to no guidance based on policies and common sense

  • Excellent time management skills. Must be able to create timelines and meet deadlines for purchasing & wholesale completion 

  • Highly organized with a track record of high productivity 

  • Technologically savvy - skills and ability to quickly learn and utilize existing technology

  • 1-3 years in a similar role - Purchasing/Inventory assistant, office manager, administrative assistant, etc

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
