Are you bonkers for bobsledding or cuckoo for curling? Then the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge has the perfect pop-up cheering spot for you!
Open for the duration of the 2018 Winter Olympics (and a few days after the closing ceremonies), Chalet Marlowe is located in the hotel lobby and gives the feel of a luxury ski lodge.
The same folks who brought you the fabulous Christmas pop-up, Wish have transformed the space into a cozy winter retreat with faux fur throw blankets, antler wreaths, ski trail signs and chairs backed with upcycled skis.
A big-screen TV has been brought in to ensure you don't miss a single second of the Games.
Bambara Kitchen & Bar has stepped in to create an assortment of South Korean and Olympic-inspired cocktails and dishes.
Owner and head chef, David Bazirgan designed the menu with entrees such as pork belly steam buns with kimchi and spiced peanuts, fried calamari with Korean miso aoili, and Gochuchang-glazed short rib lettuce wraps.
Wash it all down with a sporty cocktail like the Alpine Slide, Train to Busan, Canadian Tux, English Cup, Mexico vs. USA, China vs. Russia, and Germany vs. The Netherlands.
Fernet Branca or Branca Menta shots will be served from an ice luge on weekend nights.
If that's not enough, Chalet Marlowe has one more perk to offer. They are raffling off a pair of lift tickets to Stratton Mountain in Vermont so you can show off your own skiing or snowboarding skills!
