Tom Brady is the oldest player in the NFL. He turned 40 today and yet, he is still Tom Brady.
The New England Patriots are favored to win the Super Bowl this season and if they do, it would be their sixth. If they can win this one, then no one will have more Super Bowl wins than Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Still, the playoffs are a good five months away so maybe instead of thinking about that and fast forwarding through the Patriots season, we just look back at some of the finer moments in Tom Brady’s career.
TOM BRADY RECEPTION
Granted, it was agains tthe Eagles, Brady still picked up a first down.
99-YARD TD PASS FROM TB12
When a team presses, they could get burned — especially when there’s so much ground uncovered and the wide receiver they’re trying to stop is Wes Welker.
50 TD PASSES IN 1 SEASON
This touchdown passing record wouldn’t last forever, but it just reminds you how beat Randy Moss was in his day.
REMEMBER THE TITANS
It shouldn’t have been snowing like that this early in the year but hey, Vince Young couldn’t handle that weather, so it worked out well for them.
EVERY TIME HE’s EVER RUN THE BALL
Any time that Tom Brady runs the ball, it causes a lot of excitement because it is such a rarity.
GAME-WINNING TD PASS
Yeah. That’s who he had to work with for wide receivers that year. That’s impressive.
EARLY SUPER BOWL WINS
Two of his five Super Bowl wins.
3 IN 4 YEARS
SUPER BOWL 49 GO-AHEAD DRIVE
The Seahawks game was won on defense but hey, the offense put them ahead…
THE COMEBACK
Maybe the greatest comeback in the history of the sport. Yeah. He was under center for it.
What a career it’s been for Brady… so far.
