Among their many upcoming engagements, Littleburg is planning a one-night-only engagement at, of all places, Union Square Donuts in Somerville!
On January 10, the two very different businesses will team up with a collaborative menu featuring vegan brioche rolls made from USD's donut dough.
The sandwich of the day is a scratch-made veggie burger with tahini slaw known as the Deluxe 'Burg, or choose the group's ever-popular Classic 'Burg.
As per the Littleburg Facebook event page, "if you know us, you know we'll be bringing along some rad vegetable sides to nibble with your sandwich."
As for the featured "pretentious dessert," Littleburg will present their take on loukoumades, the Greek fried donut treat. It will consist of Union Square donut holes dunked in mulled cider syrup, with carrot jam, blood orange custard, and toasted pecans.
The event will run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., but Littleburg suggests pre-ordering your sandwich online to ensure availability. Those who participate in the presale will also get $1 off another menu item.
Seating is limited, but take out orders are welcome!
