The Patriots could win the AFC East again
You want a serious take about the New England Patriots this season three games into the season?
Obviously, the answer to that question is yes. They've only let up 17 points in three games and have scored 106. That doesn't say much about them other than the obvious thing we know about them every single year: they good. But get ready for this wild prediction because: I really think they're going to make it to the playoffs this season for the first time since last season.
Wow. Truly amazing. Just think about it: the Patriots playing in a playoff game. If all goes well, that could absolutely be the case. It's been too long since the last time they made it to the playoffs, so it really felt like an important issue to address.
Here's why they will make it to the playoffs: I think we can safely assume the team is at least slightly better than the Miami Dolphins this season and the New York Jets are down to their third string quarterback or so, so they're not really in contention at the moment. As anyone who watched Sunday's game must realize by now, those two teams are on a different level -- and not in a good way.
OK , so that leaves the Buffalo Bills?
This is going to be the Patriots biggest contest of the season to date this Sunday. They have the opportunity to prove to the world that they are better than the Buffalo Bills, a known NFL powerhouse. Surely, it will be an absolute battle. Both teams are 3-0 to start the season and while the Patriots are on the road, Yahoo Sports does say they are a seven point favorite to win it, so let's just roll with that.
So yeah, we will see what the Patriots can do Sunday and if they can beat the almighty Bills.
