Boston's hip Seaport neighborhood has transformed into a temporary holiday installation known as the Snowport Winter Village.
For a limited time you can bundle up the family, gather your friends, and enjoy outdoor winter activities including ice skating, iceless curling and large-scale versions of classic games such as Battleship, light-up Bocce, Jenga, KanJam, and cornhole.
There’s even a vintage gondola cabin where you can warm up and snap a photo or two!
In addition to the main outdoor events, Snowport also includes Winter Wonder Walks each Saturday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm, holiday shopping at the Seaport's many fabulous stores, plus "a few festive surprises."
You may even run into Betty the Yeti, a giant furry hot pink creature from the North Pole devoted to greeting guests and welcoming visitors.
2019's breakout favorite is back by popular demand on Seaport Common. That's right! Curling!
You can take lessons every Saturday or sign up to play on your own with your crew. Curling is free and open to the public through December 19th. Reservations are encouraged.
Haven't bought your tree yet? No worries! The Tree Market at Seaport has fresh trees, wreaths, lights and more. Best of all, an Evergreen Delivery employee will bike your purchases to your home.
The Tree Market will also offer warm comfort foods for takeout from a converted shipping container. Enjoy hot cider and baked goods from The Biscuit and local, fresh seafood from Red’s Best. They'll be offering lobster bisque and clam chowder.
All food will be pre-packaged and is only available for advanced online orders. Pre-Order here.
After a day of shopping and playing, head over to the heated igloos on the Envoy Hotel's Lookout Rooftop for microbrews and craft cocktails.
Since the Seaport is quite large - and it's pretty cold out there! - they have partnered with Circuit to provide complimentary rides in two environmentally friendly Snowport "sleighs".
Circuit rides are free, and can be hailed on the street or booked via the Ride Circuit mobile app. seven days a week, 11am-7pm.
Snowport adheres to all COVID-19 safety protocols. Guests, employees, and Circuit drivers must wear masks, and all cars and games are sanitized between uses.
