These 3 MA Restaurants Are Serving Up Amazing Views With Their Entrees

The online restaurant-reservation service, Open Table just celebrated their 20th year helping foodies experience the country's hottest eateries.

Earlier this month they released their list of the 100 most scenic restaurants in America for 2018.

“We know a memorable meal is as much about the ambiance as it is about the food,” Caroline Potter, OpenTable’s chief dining officer, said in a statement. “This year’s list represents an immense variety of restaurants that not only offer an exceptional meal but also feature breathtaking views that enhance the experience for locals and travelers alike.”

The results were based on more than 12 million Open Table customer reviews for more than 28,000 US restaurants.

Not surprisingly, three of our very own Massachusetts spots made the cut! Two offer lovely seaside views, while the third overlooks the entire city of Boston from 52 floors up!

Read on to see if your favorite Massachusetts restaurant is among America's most scenic.

Legal Harborside Floor 1

Legal Sea Foods has several Boston-area restaurants, but none have the spectacular views of the three-story Seaport District location. Open Table reviewers clearly responded favorably to the full bar and all day menu offered on the first floor. Oh, and let's not forget the spectacular views of the HarborWalk, Fish Pier, and the city skyline available from the generous patio!

Top of the Hub

Located on the 52nd floor of the Prudential Tower, Top of the Hub is considered Boston's most romantic dining experience for its elegant ambiance and breathtaking views of the city skyline. Depending on where you are seated, you can expect to catch a glimpse of Fenway Park, the Back Bay, the Charles River, the Esplanade, the Hatch Shell, and much more!

Ocean House Restaurant

The only non-Boston restaurant in Massachusetts to score a spot on Open Table's Most Scenic Restaurants in America list is located "down the Cape" in the quaint village of Dennisport. The Ocean House celebrated its second-consecutive year on the list, and when you check out the photos, it's easy to see why. The sprawling dining room overlooks beautiful Nantucket Sound. Guests can also get their toes in the sand at the restaurant's chic and exciting Beach Bar.

Three other New England restaurants also managed to nab spots on Open Table's list: Boat House Waterfront Dining in Tiverton, Rhode Island, and Simon Pearce Restaurant in Quechee, Vermont both scored spots for the second consecutive year; and The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar in Newport, Rhode Island showed up on the list for the first time.
